I booked the room without knowing which hotel I would get, and was pleasantly surprised; I was concerned whether we might end up in a smoking room, but when I called after the reservation went through they assured me that their rooms held for reservations through sites like hotwire/priceline are always nonsmoking.

5. The east wing, where we stayed, hasn`t been remodeled yet, and, yes, the decor looks 20 years old, but it is really quite comfortable, clean and pleasant, and the rooms are reasonably priced.

6. Although most of the hotel was dated (apparently they are in the process of updating now) everyone that worked in the hotel was very pleasant and accomodating to the point of disbelief.
