1. I booked the room without knowing which hotel I would get, and was pleasantly surprised; I was concerned whether we might end up in a smoking room, but when I called after the reservation went through they assured me that their rooms held for reservations through sites like hotwire/priceline are always nonsmoking.

3. The service at Mirabeau Park Hotel was less than friendly, and if you would like a cup of coffee to go in the morning, be prepared to pay $3 each - an no it isn`t Starbucks.
