5. We would recommend to rather book ahead a motel downtown or stay a little further from downtown in one of the motels when you have no reservation, as downton is very accessible by car.

6. Had some trouble to find a hotel downtown, but finally found the State Street Hotel (recommendation of Lonely Planet) for 100$ / Night.

7. I do not know if rooms on the other side of the building would be better insulated from the noise, but I highly recommend that you request a room on the beach facing (southeast) side if you choose to stay at the State Street Hotel.
