1. Only reason I give three stars for cleanliness is the attached porch, which was nice to have but grimy -- maids clearly clean the rooms but not the porch.

2. reasonable value for Santa Barbara ($150/night) although a little unusual in that check-in and facilities (pool, restaurants) are a block away at a separate hotel (the more expensive Mar Monte).

7. For the most part it is reasonable and on a positive note its near to East Beach and Santa Barbara Zoo where my kids had a great time.
