1. It feels almost like you are staying in someone's house, and also feels very secluded from the main santa barbara area which is only a hop away.

3. The cottage suites are lovely, with a hacienda-like feel to them, and throw in a little bit of a western feel.

6. The ranch is not too large to be impersonal and the way the rooms/suites are placed around the property means you do not feel like you are in a usual hotel and have plenty of space and privacy including a small terrace with sun loungers.
