Old Town is fun with lots of great dining, and from the transit center you can take advantage of the citys excellent public transit system, we had a concert to go to at SDSU and it could not have been easier, (Take advantage of the MTS web site and use the 'Trip Planner') and we took the 'Blue Line' to downtown SD and enjoyed the GasLamp area, and hopped a bus to Balboa Park and the SD Zoo.
