1. No restaurant, although there are a lot of restaurants in Old Town (TRY BERTA'S LATIN AMERICAN----it is a standout gem in Old Town, easy walking distance from the hotel, and way better than some of the local tourist traps.

3. When this place is no longer new, the housekeeping will need to do a better job of upkeeping this place to keep it looking clean.

4. I'm sure now that the hotel renovations are finished and it has become a Fairfield Marriott it is even better than when we were there and we would love to stay here again on our next visit to San Diego.

5. There is a parking garage under the hotel, which does cost extra, but was better for us than trying to find a parking place on the street.

The room had basic ammenites, the bed was comfortable, the room was pretty warm inside, and we were on the floor where the window looks out to the cement walkway, which you could only see peoples feet walking by (so we kept the window closed, which made it even hotter), we never tried to ask for a different room, so not sure if we would have gotten any better or not.

8. We could go on but as to say our new room was slightly better except for the fact that the window was broken and on the floor when we got in and maintenance was required to fix it.

10. During our 3 week stay in San Diego, we stayed in 3 different hotels (one in Coronado that we paid 3 times the price, and one in La jolla that we paid twice the price) and it was not better.
