5. They gave out free ice cream, brought out fruit and drinks for the guests (free of charge) and went over and beyond what was expected to accommodate the gusts considering this power outage was a historic event for most residents of San Diego.

6. When I told the manager my husband is disabled (legally blind) and the stairwell is now PITCH BLACK, he asked what I would like him to do and I said accommodate your guests and have some flashlights or alternative light sources.
