The front desk staff were courteous, the room staff were efficient and you get more in service than what you pay for at this hotel, another plus;4) The location is ideal, you are a few short steps away from the Horton Plaza (best shopping in the area), you are about three blocks from party and eating central (5th avenue) and you are out of the way enough to get a good quiet night's rest.

9. Comfort Inn Gaslamp is as their slogon says 'best Location In Downtown'My wife and I visited here in July 2011 and to be honest our expectations were not high having chosen here only on the location factor (in the gaslamp district).
