1. You can tell from the exterior that it is an older hotel but from the inside it looks new.

4. I arrived on opening day for the Padres, people really love baseball in San Diego, so the tram was a little crowded but nothing a new Yorker can't handle.

6. I called again at 11pm and asked if they could find me a room in town at any of their affiliated hotels, and they said they had just then had a cancellation, so they gave me a new room.

8. We wanted one king bed and they gave us two queens, when the gave us our new room it also had two queens, but the third time was the charm.

9. The shower was nice, with new large 'rain forest' shower head, but not as much water pressure as I`m used to at home.
