1. generally we would recommend the Gaslamp Plaza Suites, but just be wary of weekends, and ask for a suite with a separate bedroom (it costs a little more) and is a long way from the elevator lobby.

3. In this respect be careful what you are looking for from your vacation because this area in general can get a little roudy at night, especially at the weekends.

5. It was absolutely disgusting and the hotel staff nor the general manager did anything about it: they didn`t investigate AT ALL and didn`t take responsibility at all for allowing some creep to wonder around and gain access to people`s rooms and do this.
