1. The patios (with nice fireplaces) and the newly redesigned bar(s) are very enjoyable afternoon/evening venues - we were lucky to experience a great local band.

7. Beautiful fireplace and fire pit in the outside lounge area, very cozy and enjoyable.

8. The other is that during the entire stay in San Diego there was a torrential downpour and the open layout of the resort required us to have to use an umbrella and walk across the resort to access the valet, not alway enjoyable each time you want to leave the resort.
