3. The staff offered us the choice of two rooms one overlooking the marina and the other overlooking the bay, the bay was our final choice after looking at both as the view at night and first thing in the morning was very cool.

4. It was pretty cool when we saw the USS Carl Vinson ship out (didn't know it was going to be until I heard about it on the news and then opened my door.

The staff are one of the biggest assets of this hotel: Danny a the front desk managed to get us checked in over 4 hours early, and one of the other gentlemen, who's name I have unfortunately forgotten (but its the nice man with the cool British accent), took the time to print out our boarding passes for our flight home at the front desk.
