1. 00 in the morning, on the phone to an irate lover: but you'll say 'I felt safe and cared for and I was in a quiet neighbourhood, unlike many who stay in much more expensive hotels with 10 lane freeways passing their window.

2. in Azusa (Rodeway Inn) where I felt scared for our lives (somehow the handful of reviews were positive) it was SUCH A RELIEF to come to Dolphin Inn for 2 nights and have that 'peace of mind for my soul' in feeling safe, taken care of, and the layout is like a little community.

This motel is unique, The gracious nature of the Dolphin is exemplified in both the hospitality of the owners and staff, as well as the architecture and rooms - you will not find another place that captures the feeling of the bay at Point Loma, beginning just across the street, nor the casual ease and customer care that makes the Dolphin the place to stay.

9. We weren't at all disturbed by noise from the street, but if you have a problem with that, just use ear plugs, but truthfully the white noise from the air unit took care of that.

10. My daughter and I also were there the nite of the power outage - the owners and staff took care of absolutely everything possible that couldbe done for the 'occasion' - no inconvenience; in fact, it was sort of restful.
