1. On my first trip to San Antonio, I accidentally came upon the O'Brien Hotel, and I have to say it has been one of the BEST finds that I have ever come across.

4. Beds and bedding above-average, lots of pillows, both firm and soft, great TV, the best WiFi of any hotel we've stayed in recent memory, coffee pot, and extras like bottled water and toiletries.

5. The pros: perfect location 1 block from the riverwalk and walking distance to absolutely everything downtown; safe area to walk; cheap parking; friendly staff; great balcony; comfortable beds; best price of any comparable property near the riverwalk.

9. There's not a lot of the other "amenities" on the list below, so this hotel is probably best suited for couples who would like a romantic getaway near the Riverwalk and might also want to check email once in a while.
