It took us about 20 minutes to get to the River Walk area, Pluses for the hotel * Location is within walking distance * free parking (downtown is expensive valet)* near on off ramp to I-35 ( Downtown driving is not visitor friendly)Minuses for the hotel* Hallway lights are dim and make the halls look dingy* Strong smell of chlorine emanating from the pool area * Breakfast is relativity Ho-Hum* No restaurant or bar I have stayed at the Holiday Inn next door and found the local area OK and wanted to try a Marriott.
