1. We love the Hyatt because it is lush and green and it feels like you are in the country.

2. Personally, I do wish they had not cut back the vegetation so much (a few years ago), because I preferred the more lush, secluded, woodsy feel of the river area - but I'm assuming they had a good reason for cutting it back, and we still love the lazy river.

8. , you won`t mistake the Hill Country`s suite for that of a Four Seasons)On the up side:* the lushly landscaped & spacious grounds are a welcome oasis from a day of sightseeing in the humid heat; * the adult-only pool & large 'hot tub' spa set into a waterfall grotto are lovely & open from 6 AM `til late at night; * we appreciated the free use of bicycles & the easy pool-side availability of beach towels; * the golf course gets rave reviews;* the level of housekeeping & service by the staff was fine, albeit not especially noteworthy* although you`ll pay through the nose to use any of the business services almost always offered for free by other establishments in this (or even lower) price range, there is computer/printer by the concierge desk where you can print off boarding passes at no cost;* given the distance to downtown San Antonio, the drive there is surprisingly quick & easy; highway congestion does not seem to be common, even during rush hours;* it was great to be able to so quickly get out into the Hill Country.
"Great for families, not-so-fab for couples/business travelers " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/17/2007 Vote
