7. We had the most wonderful vacation and we felt like we were in paradise underneath an array of huge oaks trees, beautiful grounds filled with birds (there are many bird feeders around the resort, and lots of places to just relax on a bench, swing or hammock.

8. We also did stay at the JW Marriott San Antonio in May this year, and that really is my favorite hotel in the area, brand new, great rooms, great pool, but because the JW caters to a HUGE convention crowd, it lacks the charm and small resort feel that the Hyatt Hill Country has.
