1. a small kitchenette w/microwave and fridge made this the perfect man/ski vacation; beer, peanut butter and snacks in the room, to go with an unbeatable location directly across the street from the temple make this a great spot to go public transport and hoof it around town.

It was not fancy but rather had a bed and breakfast type of charm, no frills but perfect for us if I had anything to complain about it would be that there was no swimming pool for the kids other than that it was overall a charming place with friendly and helpful staff we ended extending our stay an additional night because there were so many things to see in salt lake.

6. This is the perfect place to stay if you're doing genealogy, as it is within a couple of blocks from the center, has a free shuttle there and back and it offers a genealogy research discount.

9. It was cold and snowy, and since I like to walk to most of my downtown area destinations, the hotel is perfectly situated for the Family History Library, everything around Temple Square and the Conference Center, shopping, restaurants, etc.
