2. The hotel barely had any guest but I was told at check in one of the two rooms was occupied, so someone else was good enough to receive this room but, I'm not ' why be a Diamond member' Marriott starting to look pretty good and Hyatt accepts my Hilton Diamond member card and gives me free upgrades.

4. Although we do shop around, we always keep coming back for the free (good) beer/drinks at night and the friendly staff.

7. Overall, we got a good value on this hotel from the Hilton website, rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and amenities met all expectations - a solid choice for a family or business stay in SLC.

This hotel had all the things you would expect at an Embassy Suites - nice amenities (the managers reception was better than most, some good local brews on tap and friendly service; the cooked to order breakfast better than most buffets, but not stellar;the onsite restaurant exceeds expectations).

9. I did see the UTA train, but no information was offered at check-in on using this service nor did I see anything in the lobby - this might be a good alternative to driving downtown.
