4. The positives about this hotel are that it is in a good location (in the free transportation zone close to a street car stop and a bus stop to the Max), is near a few good pizza restaurants and coffee houses, and the staff was pretty friendly.

After arguing with an incorrigable night desk clerk over the amount of people in our room, my friends and I (in town for the night from Seattle) walked into our room to find expletives carved into the bathroom walls, black mold on the main room walls and so much dirt and grime on the floors and windowsills it was unbearable.
