8. Of course, you pay far less for staying in a PDX-area hotel than you would in downtown, and w/Portland's light rail going into Cascade Station (next to PDX), it's reasonable quick and pain-free to get downtown (or elsewhere).

9. free internet, free parking, free breakfast add $60 to the value over a downtown address, so if you can't snag a four-star downtown Portland on Priceline for under $100, then book into the Fairfield for $100 and enjoy your extra $60 you'd pay downtown on a great dinner for 2 at Andinos or Persia House.
"Economy Nicely Done " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/1/2010 Vote
10. As others have written, this is a typical Fairfield Inn so it has few ameniies and frills but the rooms are clean, the price is right, and they have some useful amenities like free internet, free breakfast and a free shuttle to airport.
"Above average because of location to PDX, inexpensive rooms, and Marriott quality and service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/31/2010 Vote
