1. The Avalon is a hotel that I had heard of but did not really have a reason to stay in Portland.

3. Room was lovely (ask for a riverside room), bathroom was huge, continental breakfast and free wifi made it very reasonable.

4. We did not have to pay for overnight parking because we bought a package deal, however $19 seems pretty reasonable overall (I might feel differently if we stayed for more than a night).

7. WIFI is reasonable, though I'd recommend that they put a couple more AP's in to increase coverage, it's a little spotty at the far end of the build and on the upper floors.
