1. Things got off to a good start with the booking of the reservation by phone, first with the hotel staff to inquire about specific details, and later with the reservationist who was helpful and friendly.

7. The saving grace is that it is Marriott, and the staff was super friendly and helpful, even when they had to bring my car back around so I could take out everything I needed for work.
