To add insult to injury, I discovered after some research that had I stayed at mariott's residence inn across the bridge, it would've been free and my room rate would've been much
cheaper
.

The only negatives were the price for attendee parking, but I was able to get around that for the most part as their was a garage nearby and just self parked which was a good $10
cheaper
per day.

Valet parking was expensive, but the attendant was very clear from the start and also mentioned the public parking across the road which was
cheaper
.

We knew for this trip we would be driving a lot during many parts of the day, so this worked for us, but there are
cheaper
parking alternatives nearby if you plan to not drive too much.

We went in and out a few times and it was still a lot
cheaper
being charged by the hour than using the valet service.
