Their outdoor bar/lounge area was a
huge
plus - particularly since it was sunny and 70 when we were there.

Rooms are just the right size, not
huge
, which I appreciate as there always seems to be so much wasted space.

We were given a special discounted rate for our group, and they even upgraded our daughter's room to a
huge
corner suite at no extra charge, since she was the bride.

All rooms are wifi connected and it's free (a
huge
and welcome boon for international travellers) there's even a standard iPhone docking station clock radio in every room: so practical.

The location was ideal for the HUGE Saturday farmers market at Portland State, just a few blocks away; for transportation (free rail); and for nearby ZipCar use that we took to the Columbia River Gorge and Hood River.

Sure, it's not a
huge
city, but trying to find a hotel that doesn't charge you in a city is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
