1. Staff was friendly & accommodating, but I don't demand much & used to live in Philly - so I liked the hotel for its updated design & location.

2. The Latham did end up trying to find us a new room for our 2nd night after complaining for 24 straight hours, but we had to be available at a moment's notice to switch, and unfortunately we had plans that we could not change to accommodate the Latham.

3. It was astounding how they expected us to accommodate their schedules rather than them going above and beyond to satisfy a displeased, paying customer.

4. We tried to work with the hotel for an entire day to remedy the situation, and they were unwilling to accommodate us at all and acted like we were an inconvenience to them by staying at their hotel.

While only a few of them are in the same price range of the Latham, I have come to believe that if you need to stay in the central downtown area of the town, investing an extra $75 - $100 each night for a hotel room, earns a tidy return in the quality of service and accommodations the other hotels provide.
