1. Despite negative publicity i felt perfectly safe walking around the area and walked back from the French Quarter at 2am with no problems.

2. They set up our dining hall to perfection, it was done so elaborately that our guest took 30 mins taking pictures of the entire set up.

3. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location, for my purposes, was perfect as it was equi-distant from the Superdome and the French Quarter (about a 5 minute walk to the dome; 10 minute walk to the French Quarter).

5. Keep in mind that lots of hotels in New O do NOT have pools and if you have two children and a wife that needs to keep her sun-tan, then this is a perfect hotel for you.
