1. The decor of the hotel is simply charming and yes, the room decor can seem a bit dated but if I wanted to stay someplace that reeks of modern taste, I would go there.
"Great Location with gorgeous french charm! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/9/2012 Vote
2. The outdoor pool was fabulous and I won't stay anywhere else, it is close enough to catch the action for anything, but far enough to retreat and hang on the balcony for a couple cocktails while enjoying the sounds, smells and tastes NOLA has to offer.

3. The bathroom was a little outdated for my taste but I'm sure others might like it.

6. The breakfast was beyond great - both in taste and calories - homemade biscuits sliced and drenched in butter, grits, crispy bacon, perfect eggs.

7. But the hotel is just too old and outdated for my tastes.

10. The bedspread and curtains were a little old-fashioned for my taste, but the third-floor room was a good size, very clean, lots more storage space than I needed for four days' worth of clothes.
