1. Interior of the building is nice, there's a Starbucks in the lobby (but not a coffee maker in the room), and there are plenty of elevators unlike the Sheraton.

3. Location-wise, the hotel is right in the center of the downtown area, so you can't go wrong if you feel like wandering around to take in the nashville scene - if you're a music lover, there's plenty to suit your needs on Broadway.

4. While the front-desk staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, the rest of the hotel didn't seem to match up to other Renaissance properties at which I've stayed.
