6. I think it was just an oversight by our waiter who may have not picked up the waffle when it was made and then had to reorder it again? The restaurant was not busy when this happened, but it was delicious when he did receive it.

Gargantuan rooms, as large or larger than most contemporary hotel suites, well appointed furnishings, some with antique lamps and furniture of antebellum genre, a daily assortment of delicious, freshly baked cookies and hot cider, manned (and womaned) by a phalanx of well trained hotel professionals, the Hermitage's craftsmanship and bygone-era-style will never be replicated.
