1. Also surprising was the air conditioning unit that we had to turn 'off' while in the room because it sounded like a lawn mower - not acceptible in 95 degree temps.

2. We travel with a older 10 pound poodle, so we look for lodging that will accept small pets, without having to stay in a 'designated room' which often turns out to be a less desirable or a smoking room.
