1. Rooms are reasonable without being spacious, the bed was far too soft for my liking providing no support (though that seems to be par for the course in Tennessee going on recent stays, so maybe that's how they like it), the TV has heaps of channels but is an older flat screen CRT rather than widescreen that is very hard to watch from anywhere but the bed, the shower was okay, and a decent safe was provided with other reasonable security measures.

2. The surrounding area is also not great, and unless you want fast food or other junk, of which there's copious local choices, be prepared to travel to dine (I had to drive five miles to find a decent restaurant for tea).

5. Gotta love this place - yes it's kitsch, and the Elvis theme wears thin very quickly if you're not a devoted fan, but look at it objectively - it's clean, it's got a pulse, the pool is great, and it's in the best part of Memphis, with decent shops and food all nearby.

6. When planning a trip to Graceland, we found the Days Inn to have decent ratings, was very close to Graceland and was a good price.

7. I did find a few bobby pins and some M&Ms on the floor, so I'm not sure how good the cleaning job was, but the beds were decently comfortable and the pool was awesome (although it had too much chlorine, which hurt my son's eyes).

10. To the managers or owners, guys invest in some new bedding and some decent cleaning equipment please i have had better night sleeps on Park benches.
