1. Bottom line? NOTHING compares with the Beverly Hills Plaza for comfort, location, space, and especially price.

Pool area was lovely with plenty of loungers (very comfortable padded sort) and there was a bar/restaurant if you wanted food/drink (it was quite pricey but you are in Beverly Hills)If you are staying at the hotel you will need a car but then if you are staying in LA for any period of time you will need a car.

3. I got upgraded, and had a separate living room that was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

4. The room decor is not outstanding, but the beds are comfortable, and every room is a suite, which I think means big room with sitting area.
