1. We stayed in two different rooms on separate weekends - the first bed was really soft and springy but the second was much better and nice and firm.

2. Hollywood Downtowner Inn is also affiliated with a taxi service a few doors up which gives you a much better deal on cab fares than the regular Hollywood cabs, and Bechir also knows his way around.

9. If you call them directly you can probably negotiate a slightly better price than what you will find with the online booking services.

10. The location is OK for a budget hotel, but you can find better places in the same price range and significantly nicer places (ie: Holiday Inn) for $20 more per night.
