3. We hired the hotel's car to Rodeo Drive for $60 each way (4 people) and then they upgraded us to a limo which made the evening such an amazing experience.

4. Infact, there was the club level room up there which was closed on Saturday and Friday evening - so what? Despite the age, our room was wide and nice and perfectly decorated with amazing beds as always.

5. The amazing experience of the evening was the absolutely awful Champions bar, totally ghastly food, thank goodness we had ordered one appetizer to start off with, my gin and tonic was totally average, the table and menus were sticky/tacky, the only redeeming grace was the service.

8. Best of all, the room service was amazing -- I ordered their salmon with a warm salad and a San Pellegrino and it was absolutely delicious and delivered very professionally, putting me as a solo traveler at my ease.
