1. I have waited almost 3 weeks to write this review as my experience and stay the the Renaissance Los Angeles was not a pleasant one, and as you can see from my many reviews I am usually an upbeat and positive type of guy.

6. This was not my first stay in a Renaissance hotel, and we usually stay in a three or four star when we travel, however, this is the first time I have felt strongly inclined to leave a positive review.

9. Having read several positive reviews on tripadvisor, we were surprised at what we found when we checked in: a filthy pool, a well-worn and not real clean room, and a shower that had (at best) lukewarm water.
