1. the staff are super friendly and will always get you a cab or tell you the best place to eat - they even gave us some coupons for meals, the butterfly house etc.

4. The best thing about this hotel is that it is close to old town and has more to offer in size then a guest house, but is tucked away enuff to be off the radar of most tourist and away from the downtown noise with lots of its own nature setting.

5. The hottub was great after a long day of walking Duval it`s under the palm trees and has the best jet action in south florida.

6. Our room was on the second floor, in my opinion the best room there, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the pool, beach, surrounded by palms, banana trees.

7. best bet to rent a car right as you get off the plane scooters can get exspensive.

The best means of transportation would be bicycle or the Bone Island Shuttle which stops right in front of the Banana Bay and runs until 11pm and it is reasonably priced for an all day ride ( I recommend if you are going to be in the area for three or more days, get the three day pass you save a few dollars).
