1. When we checked in, the first room they sent us to at 8 pm, was not cleaned from the previous guest.

To be honest there is not much between the sizes and appointment of these rooms no matter the brand (except Hyatt Place withe a higher price tag) except some are old and badly maintained and some we well maintained and my room at Clarion was clean, well maintained and all I needed for a one night stopover.

8. It's clean and quiet, the rooms are large, the cost is reasonable (about half the cost of the Marriott that's right at the airport, which I'm told has had bedbug problems in the past), internet is free, and it's a 10 minute drive to drop off your rental car.
