4. Excellent Marriott which provides close proximity to a lot of the Galleria areas better food and shopping.

5. The Hotel's location could be better, because it says 'By The Galleria', it should mean across the interstate hwy, so yes, besides traffic, expect highway noise in your bedrooms if you're facing the highway.

9. There is a large choice of 4-star hotels in the Galleria area in Houston, I have a tried over the years a few ones and they are all better alternatives than this one.

10. In my experience and in reading other reviews on Trip Advisor, most of the major hotels in Houston don't do much better than this despite city prices (although my weekend nights were only $99, a fairer price I thought).
