1. If you come in at night you might use the valet, but 15 bucks a night was pretty pricey when you can park 100 feet further away next to the restaurant for free.

The main reason I selected this hotel was because I did not want to bother with the hassle of valet parking in downtown (they charge 20 in downtown & 15 here, but at least at the Belmont you can park in their restaurant lot next door for free, which we did) and it was very close to my sister's house.

7. We had to request a coffee pot (twice actually, since the first one didn't work) because those aren't included automatically, there was no refrigerator in the room, the usual free amenities of shampoo, etc were never re-filled, and the paint in the bathtub was peeling off in strips.

8. Same price but she was upgraded to a suite for free bc her stay was long (8days) yet when I asked for one more night after staying 3, the 99$ rate went up to 109$.
