1. Trolly is free and took us to more affordable dining and a grocery story :) yes I carried groceries into the swanky hotel because I wouldn't let my kids take the $4.

2. We did get a great deal on the hotel as they were running a stay two nights get one free speacial, so it is tough to comment on what normal rates would be, but for this weekend it was a great deal all the way around and would recommend to anyone.
