1. Finally, the room includes a menu for the little cafe downstairs, we picked a couple breakfast items we thought we'd like to try only to find most of the items on the in room menu were no longer available, they had a new paper menu in the cafe.

3. I think (now I'm speculating) that the reason I found some inaccuracies in other reviews (like no full length mirror) is that because after reading those reviews the manager actually followed up and made any changes or improvements where needed.

5. Yes, like the other reviews said - the walls are a little thin but it's a really old building so what do you expect? It was never a problem for us.

6. I looked at the fire escape floor plan on the wall and there are only 14 rooms on the 8th floor - so it's not like there is a ton of traffic like there might be at some larger hotels.

7. Our second & final night at the hotel was much like the first & again, when we called down to the front desk we were assured that it would be handled.

9. Our first night was sleepless because of (what seemed like) drunken play in the hallway outside our room at 2:00am.

10. The bed was fantastic, I slept like a baby, something I rarely am able to do, the furnishings are really nice in the room, there is a little sitting area with desk, chair and couch in a separate area as well.
