1. We could not get down onto the field as I'd hope since Kenny Chesney just finished up a concert so that was a little sad, but it was a pretty huge place for sure.

5. A little farther up the road is the Grapevine mall (an indoors outlet mall) and quite a few more restaurants and shops surrounding it, including a Bass Pro Shop (worth the trip just to see their huge aquariums stocked with native sport fish).

6. The health club is huge with every kind of equipment, the heated pool doubles as a fountain outside the restaurant, and there is a spa/whirlpool in the basement that is secluded and relaxing.

I was blown away, however, by the absolute friendliness and professionalism of the staff from the second I walked in the door, by the appearance of the huge lobby, by the fine dining and full bar downstairs, by the pool, by the cleanliness of my room, and by the peace and comfort I enjoyed while there.
