1. I didn't get to try the cafe which sits off to the side of the lobby or the skyview gym/pool, but according to the others in my party those amenities are more than adequate.

8. The hotel looks as though it is a converted apartment building, so each of the rooms is going to have a kitchen and we had a two bedroom (with one bath), which was more than adequate for my wife and I with our college age daughter.
