1. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance in addition to the cafe downstairs which meant that all of my participants were easily able to make it back within our one-hour lunch break.

(I've had catering roll in at 2:00 and make excessive noise setting up for the afternoon)The wifi was reliable and had plenty of bandwidth to accommodate us and while there were not enough power outlets, the hotel was ready with plenty of high-quality surge protectors to take care of our laptop sessions.

3. The only negative for kids was no indoor pool but plenty to do around hotel instead.

5. The location of the hotel is excellent due to the fact that there are plenty of nice restaurants and entertainment establishments within walking distance of the hotel.

6. The free breakfast and boxed lunches provided to conference attendees (I assume they were organized by the hotel, not an outside service hired for the event) were quite good, and plentiful.

7. If you're not driving, even better, as there are usually plenty of taxi cabs lined up out front and the light rail system runs right by the hotel (fortunately the sound is buffered by the parking ramp between the rail and the hotel itself).
