3. It's not exactly convenient getting from your car to the entrance to the hotel, either (but a helluva lot better than the aloft).

4. As the title says, you'll be hard-pressed to find a hotel downtown with better customer service or one in the center of entertainment and the EpiCenter.

8. The location of the hotel could not have been better - only a block to the EpiCenter with lots of bars, restaurants and activities and only two blocks to Tryon Street restaurants, bars and theatre.

9. Some in our group stayed at the Marriott to use points and they commented that the Holiday Inn was better (as did my husband who has stayed at both).
