6. Once there, I never used my car again though - I like walking places, and it's less than a mile walk from the Fourth Ward/Uptown neighborhoods, where there are a lot of restaurants.

7. Be warned - I drove past this hotel like three times before finding it, because it's set back from the road, and to me, the entrance wasn't immediately visible because I was looking for the hotel itself, not a driveway.

8. They are brighter and have some nice features like good desktop and bedside lamp outlets, better desk space, the ubiquitous flat screen TV (and now MSNBC which made me happy.
