1. #2 it gave us a reason to get in a morning walk or an after dinner cool down walk after we'd eat at one of the restaurants in town.

2. While it is a bit of a schlep from the subway line, it is pretty close to central Boston, has reasonably sized rooms, a little indoor pool, regular food offerings and is decently price.

5. OK if you're in reasonable physical shape, but what about when it is raining, snowing, too hot or cold, etc?There is no taxi stand anywhere near the hotel.
