1. My wife and I had a great time with our two girls at a hotel that manages to bring the best of an 'old school' feel (big room and great service) without being dated.

5. Wouldn't they have added tables there or something to make those precious square feet more profitable? Why the big blank spot where a baby grand used to be? We will be looking for a place with music for our evenings out .

6. Staff were very welcoming, rooms big and beautifully decorated (mine had a nice view over a park), bathroom excellent, breakfast just about perfect and the gym and pool were brilliant.

7. Needless to say the view from our room of the Common was beautiful and the room was really nice and big so we had plenty of room for all of the girls in the wedding party to get ready the day of.

10. big gym, relatively large swimming pool, clean (no salty, no full of chloryde) and not too warm (generally i found hotels' pool simply too hot to swim in it).
